In 2022, I found myself at a crossroads: continue my steady path as an Executive Assistant or embrace the creative side I had long ignored. For years, I had leaned into my organized, perfectionist nature—managing calendars and running things for others from behind-the-scenes. There was always a passion within me, calling me to explore my creativity.

While I had always been told I was artistic, I often dismissed those compliments. Sure, I could doodle, but who was I to do anything more? Then, I took a leap of faith and painted my first mural when designing an AirBnB in Texas. The pride and sense of accomplishment I felt were overwhelming. The mural enhanced the room and turned out better than I had imagined. So much so that I went on to replicate that mural for two other clients!

Encouraged by the positive response, I decided to showcase my skills on social media. To my surprise, I quickly booked two more residential mural projects! This journey has been both exhilarating and fulfilling, proving that stepping out of my comfort zone can lead to beautiful, unexpected opportunities.
